Hi, I’m Shannon.

I’m a multi-interdisciplinary Artist working with animation, collage, large scale painting, print making & fiber.

My work is inspired by health, humor & happiness. It is a visual representation of internal problems I’m trying to solve and personal verdicts & experiences I want to share. Or just something weird that made me laugh…

Visual commonalities you will see in my Art are soft shapes & colors with subtly deep contrasts & textures. I’m also interested in the beauty of movement through the spectrum of meticulously planning animations all the way to free-hand painting murals larger than myself.

I was born in July 86’ and grew up in Tucson. In 2011, I followed a dumb boy to Chicago but stayed to attend SAIC where I earned my BFA. I lived there for 10 years before moving back to the desert to reconnect with my roots and True Love. Now we call Truth or Consequences, NM our “home.”

My goal is to achieve financial freedom so that I can spend more time animating and donating murals to hospitals that can’t afford to commission art. It’s places of illness that need that special atmospheric touch the most.
