I’ve been holding onto this butterfly imagery for months until I found the perfect words to describe growth. Then Adam pulled out the book “on death and dying” that had the 5 stages of grief in it. Perfecto!!!! Because grief is transformative and life is both powerful and vulnerable. And although it’s joyous for the butterfly to emerge, it will only make its aerial migration once. A bittersweet reality.
