“TRIPLE PRICKLY” Cotton Citizen CROPPED HOODIE (Women's XS)

This sweatshirt is made from cutting up three recycled Tshirts in the shapes of lilac prickly pears, pads and the sun. They are then sewn onto a pre-loved luxury Cotton Citizen cropped hoodie, made and dyed in the U.S. to create a one-of-a-kind, textured Art Garment. This sweatshirt features 3 prickly pears total, 1  in front and 2 in back. The pricklies are stitched and pop beautifully on this complimentary textured ochre dye job with a raw hem. 

After sewing 3 prickly pears to 3 different hoodies, I thought… “is this too many prickly pears for one hoodie?!”. I decided the answer was “Yes, it’s overkill” and so I wont be making them again with more than one prickly pear. I guess that makes the few Triple Pricklies extra unique!

Cotton Citizen garments are not consistent in sizing. Please see measurements below before purchasing.

DETAILS:

  • Pre-loved COTTON CITIZEN hoodie with ochre wash.

  • 100% French Terry cotton.

  • Half zip cropped hoodie with raw hem.

  • Hoodie made and dyed in Los Angeles, California.

  • Retailed New, without unique fiber art at $

  • Collage style Fiber Art, cut and sewn in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico by Shannon Belock

  • Pre washed

  • Cotton garments will shrink in the dryer. To extend the life, wash on cold (inside out), hang dry and steam.

MEASUREMENTS, laid flat:

  • Shoulder to shoulder is 19 in.

  • Pit to pit is 19.5 in.

  • Shoulder to bottom length is 18.5 in.
