It’s been months since I’ve been able to make anything and I’ve been pretty cranky about it. Then I started realizing that just because I rarely have access to my studio, doesn’t mean I’m incapable of creating art… it means I’m going to have to try much harder to make it a priority. If it’s as important to me as I say it is, then maybe I need to just get over myself and put in some more effort to produce. Maybe the art I make with limited supplies & time in weird spots can be good too. The struggle to complete could even have the potential for more successful pieces? Maybe instead of #almostdailycollage being a simple exercise, it turns into more of a personal battle to maintain creative output. One thing I know for sure is that Martha Stewart would NEVER let inconvenience get in the way of her making things. “MARTHA KNOWS BEST”
